The 7th and 8th grade football teams faced Wea Ridge at home on Thursday. The 7th won 12-8 and the 8th fell 29-2 to the Huskies. The 7th grade first half flew by with a 0-0 score. The 2nd half started much the same until late in the 3rd Jack Kane hit Jackson Weaver with a 40 yard touchdown pass. Wea drove to a score late in the 4th quarter to take a 8-6 lead. The Knights put on an epic drive starting at their own 35 and scored the game winning touchdown with Jack throwing to Jackson once again with 11 seconds left in the game. The 8th grade score was closer than it appeared. Wea took advantage of the Knights mistakes to win. Both teams will finish the season at home next Thursday, October 16th against Rensselaer
