Guerin Catholic came into McHale Gym last evening determined to avenge last year’s thrilling loss to the Knights. The Golden Eagles showcased their athleticism and energy from the opening serve, controlling the tempo in all three sets. Their momentum carried strongest in set three, closing out the match in straight sets 0–3 (12–25, 14–25, 8–25). The Knights now look to regroup and bounce back as they hit the road north on I-65 to take on the Bombers of Rensselaer. The JV match is set for 6:00 PM ET (5:00 PM CT), with varsity to follow.
