The Knights came out strong in the opening set, forcing the Bison to adjust throughout. Unfortunately, we came up just short, dropping the first set 20-25. In set two, Benton Central’s experience began to show as they put us in difficult situations and controlled the momentum the rest of the way. The Knights ultimately fell 0-3 (20-25, 12-25, 4-25), moving to 1-2 overall and 1-1 in conference play. This weekend, the Varsity will host our Annual LCC Invitational, welcoming a strong field of programs including Andrean (3A), Indianapolis Lutheran (1A), Covington (1A), Pioneer (1A), Greenwood Christian (1A), Linton-Stockton (2A), and Barr-Reeve (2A). Play begins at 9:00 AM, and there will be plenty of exciting volleyball all day long. Come out and support the Knights!
