Varsity vs Hamilton Heights High School Win Scoring: Addie Wallar, Kenzie Schuessler Saves: Sarah Switzer (1) Summary: Coming off a season-opening tie against Lafayette Jeff, the Lady Knights hosted Hamilton Heights in an early-season conference matchup. The Knights came out strong, controlling possession throughout the first half. Their persistence paid off when junior Addie Wallar broke through with an unassisted goal to give the Knights the lead heading into halftime. Picking up right where they left off, the Lady Knights continued to dominate after the break. Late in the second half, sophomore Kenzie Schuessler sealed the win with another unassisted goal. The Knights’ defense held firm from start to finish, recording their first shutout of the season. With the 2-0 victory, the Lady Knights improve to 1-0-1 on the season and will look to carry the momentum into their next matchup when they host Faith Christian on Monday at 6 p.m.
