Lafayette Central Catholic (23-5) defeated Benton Central 12-2 in five innings to advance to the Sectional championship. Vince Telenko pitched 4 2/3 innings to run his record to 7-0 on the year. Mikey Stapleton had two hits, drove in three runs and scored twice. Lucas Gerkey also had a pair of hits and scored twice. The Knights will take on Delphi Monday night at 6pm for the Sectional championship.
