The Lady Knights opened IHSAA tournament play Thursday evening at Riverton Parke taking on the Fountain Central Mustangs. The Knights started slowly at the plate but made some adjustments and got things rolling with 2 runs in the top of the third and slowly played add on from there. The Knights were led at the plate by senior second baseman Lauren Johnson who had 3 hits and 2 RBI, as well as senior Aubrey Bapst who had 2 hits and 2 RBI. Kendyl McCammon went the distance for the Knights allowing only 1 earned run and striking out 6.
