Lafayette Central Catholic (12-4) built a 9-2 lead and staved off a late rally to beat Clinton Prairie ((9-4) 9-8. Vince Telenko allowed two runs over 5 2/3 innings to pick up his fourth win. Hudson Gutwein had a two out, two run single in the second inning followed by Alex Schummer's two run double. The Knights added four runs in the bottom of the sixth on a Mikey Stapleton sacrifice fly, a Jackson Cain two run double and and RBI single from D.J. Gilkey. The Knights needed all of those runs as the Gophers stormed back with six runs in the seventh.
