Lafayette Central Catholic (6-1, 3-1) defeated Benton Central (1-5, 1-3) in five innings for the second consecutive night. The Knights pounded out 13 hits en route to the 14-4 victory. Hudson Gutwein had three doubles and scored three times. Lucas Gerkey was 2-2 with four RBI and scored three times while Mikey Stapleton, Brennan VanKirk and Calvin Reisman each had two hits. Jackson Cain had a two run double in the first inning and Gus Sandberg had a two run single in the fourth inning. Vince Telenko picked up the win tossing three innings and Tatum Adriano struck out a pair of Bison in his two innings of work on the mound.
