The Knights got off to a quick start in the first with a lead off double by Julia Mazur and an RBI from Corinne Zehring. The bats went quiet for the Knights in the second and the Mustangs took advantage of 3 Knights errors in the bottom half of the inning to open up an 8-1 lead. The Knights were unable to recover from the big inning and ultimately lost a tough one 13-2 in 5 innings.
