Lafayette Central Catholic opened the 2025 campaign with a convincing 9-3 win over Bishop Chatard. Lucas Gerkey pitched six strong innings allowing just two hits, walking none and struck out five. The Knights offense was balanced with seven starters collecting at least one hit. The Trojans got on the board in the seventh with a 2 out error, a single and a three run homer from Sanny Bardach.
