Knights Win Thriller Over Rensselaer

The Knights were able to complete a thrilling comeback against Rensselaer Saturday night. Charlie Seaburg’s three pointer with 9 seconds left to play tied the game at 53. Following a timeout, the Knights forced a turnover to have a chance to win the game in regulation. Mikey Stapleton hit Bobby Metzger following the steal and Metzger was fouled with 0.7 seconds remaining. Metzger hit his second free throw to put the Knights in front 54-53 for the victory. Mikey Stapleton led the Knights with 12 points and Charlie Seaburg finished with 10 points. The Knights move to 6-3 on the season. They will be back in action Tuesday night at Western against the 7-4 Panthers
