Indianapolis, Ind. - Central Catholic JV Basketball was trounced by the Brebeuf Braves 73-24 on Saturday night. Calvin Reisman and the Knights scored the first bucket of the game and led by as much as three early before the Braves ramped up the defensive intensity which remained unrelenting throughout the game. The Knights struggled to establish an offensive presence as the Braves forced Central Catholic into 30 turnovers, many leading to easy transition points. The Knights were again led by Jackson Newkirk in scoring with seven points. Tommy Brown added five and Ben Weeks had four in what was a poor scoring outing across the board. The Knights will be off for finals before wrapping up 2024 at Rossville on Saturday, December 21.
