Williamsport, Ind. - The Central Catholic Junior Varsity opened the regular season with a win over the Seeger Patriots on Wednesday night. The game was a back-and-forth affair all night. Trailing by two late, Jackson Newkirk sank a three to give the Knights the lead for good. Wain Walter led the Knights with 20 points in only three quarters of action. Newkirk added 10 for CC. The Knights are back in action on Tuesday in the IU Health Classic against Lafayette Jeff.
