The Lafayette Central Catholic 8th Grade Boys Basketball A team defeated the Delphi Oracles 39-27. The Knights were led in scoring by Garrick Evans with 16, Alex Gonzalez with 10 and Dru Stapleton with 7. The home team pulled away in the 2nd quarter with a strong 19-7 showing. The victory brings the season record to 3-2. The 8th Grade B team won a nailbiter 23-21. Easton Larrabee came up clutch by hitting a pair of free throws with 5 seconds left to give the Knights the lead. Larrabee led the team in scoring with 8, followed by Lane Devlin with 5 and Parker Duso with 3. The Knights are back in action with 3 games next week.
