A special recognition is in order for Sophomore Girls Soccer player Addie Wallar. Addie received a positive sportsmanship report from a game official on Saturday vs. Rensselaer Central. IN the 5-minute mark of the first half, Delaney Koebcke #9 of Rensselaer Central was hit with the ball in the head. Delaney was dazed, confused and started to wander around. Addison Wallar #3 from Lafayette Central Catholic High School grabbed Delaney by both arms and began talking to her and kept her from falling to the ground. She reassured her that she would be ok and kept her safe until the trainer was able to get to her. It was a great display of sportsmanship for both teams, officials, and fans. Delaney was able to return to the game. Great Job Addie!
