Synopsis by Coach Kipp Pickerill: The Knight's had a great evening, at the 2024 Greater Lafayette City/County XC Meet held at the Tippecanoe Amphitheatre hosted by Tecumseh. Our harriers certainly lived up to the theme of the night "PR Today", made by veteran Patrick Seeley. For the girls, leader Katie Rotar posted a huge career PR of 13:47, followed by 15:10 by Julia Duso. New season PRs for two of our Knights, 15:18 by Tatum Perior, and 21:45 by Sophia Telenko. Great Job Lady Knights! Moving on to the boys, Connor Brand led the Knights through the line with a career best of 11:18, followed by a career PR of 11:31 by Patrick Seeley, 12:09 by Alex Gonzalez, 12:47 by Andrew Thiel, 13:41 by Zach Kerr, 14:01 by Parker Duso, 14:06 by Luke Friel, and ending with new career PRs of 14:51 and 14:53 by Beckett White and Jeremy Sison, respectively. The boys combined for a Knights team placement of 5th out of 12 teams, with 165 points (12 18 31 44 60). It was a cool night and great course that reflected the great results by our Knights. As the season comes to a close, it is easy to look forward to even greater races to come. Next up, your Knights are on the road again, heading to the WCJC Conference Championships on 28 September!
