The Knights raced against tough competition through the forest trails of Camp Sycamore, at the Hornet Invitational, on 10 Sep 2024. In the boys race, Connor Brand led the Knights across the line at 11:47. Patrick Seeley and Alex Gonzalez were in close pursuit, finishing within 40 seconds of Connor. Andrew Thiel and Jayden Silva-Amaro ran strong in the trails and secured the 4th and 5th scoring spots for the Knights. The boys collective efforts led to a 4th place team finish, behind West Lafayette, East Tipp and Rossville. Score: 115 (13 15 22 28 37). In the girls race, the Katies ran strong in the trails and led the way for the Knights. Katie Rotar and Katie Brown both posted a 15:16 finish. Julia Duso and Sophia Telenko were the 3rd and 4th Knights across the line. Nice running Knights! Racing intensity picks up, as we head to the Rensselaer Invitational this weekend, the back home for the Central Catholic Invitational just a few days later.
