We opened our season against a very talented and aggressive Harrison volleyball team and cam up short 1-3(17-25,25-23,15-25-16-25). Our girls played very hard but we just made a few to many errors that kept us from maintaining any momentum through out the match. This was a great match for us to start the season so we can guage where we are and what we need to continue to clean up. Carley Barrett(Sr.) and Lauren Johnson(So.) led us in kills with 9 and 8 respectively, Kaitlyn Kuckkan(Sr.) dished out 21 assists on the night with zero errors. Grace Bordenet(Sr.) picked up 9 digs and Paige Perez(So.) had 4 aces to lead us. Next week is a full week of home matches for us as we will hose Logansport on Tuesday night, Benton Central on Thursday those matches the JV will begin at 6pm with the Varsity to follow after. We will then host our Annual Knights Volleyball Invite on Saturday with Andrean, Pioneer, Indianapolis Lutheran, Barr Reeve, Linton-Stockon and Greenwood Christian in attendance. Can't wait to see everyone packing McHale Gymnasium next week!! Go Knights!
