Lafayette Central Catholic (23-6) defeated Fountain Central Monday morning by the score of 11-1 in five innings. Brinn Robbins scattered three hits and struck out nine Mustangs to raise his record to 7-1. Ths Knights tallied ten hits led by Jackson Cain, Kayden Minnich and Keaton Brooks with two hits apiece. Gavin Boutelle, Gus Sandberg and Brooks each drove in two for the Knights. LCC advances to the Sectional Championship game Monday night and will take on Riverton Parke at 7:30pm at Gordon Leming Field.
