Your LCC Knights Defense was LIGHTS OUT on Friday to open the season with a commanding 35-8 victory over the Seeger Patriots on Friday night at LaRocca Field. The only thing better than the Knights D was the amazing student section the boys had to support them! The Defense was led by Jackson Cain (9 tackles, one for loss, one hurry and an interception), Albert Schwartz (7 tackles, two sacks, and a hurry), Brinn Robbins (8 tackles, two for loss, and two passes defended), and Ray Clayton (8 tackles and two passes defended). Offensively, the line was anchored by Will Spencer. Bobby Metzger went 22-35 for 251 yards and 3 td passes while hitting nine different receivers. Mason Meister had a big night with 15 carries for 105 yds and 2 TDS. Alex Hardebeck caught 6 passes for 113 yds and 2 scores as well. Your 2A #3 LCC Knights will travel to 3A #2 Guerin Catholic this Friday for the annual battle for the Bishop’s Cannon. Kickoff i at 7:30. AMDG Fight On!!
