Girls Soccer Varsity vs FAITH CHRISTIAN SCHOOL (1 - 2) Loss The Lady Knights traveled across town Saturday to take on rival Faith Christian, but a slow start proved costly in a 2-1 defeat. Following a rain delay, the Eagles came out ready to play, finding the back of the net twice in the first half while capitalizing on the Knights’ sluggish opening. The Knights came out with renewed energy after halftime and began to find their rhythm. Thalia Nunez got the Knights on the scoreboard with a goal, cutting the deficit to 2-1 and giving the Knights momentum heading into the final stretch. Despite continued pressure, the Knights were unable to find an equalizer, as Faith Christian held on for the rivalry victory. The Lady Knights will look to bounce back Monday when they travel to Rossville.
