The Lafayette Central Catholic Knights fell to Logansport, 45-7, Friday night, dropping their record to 2-2 on the season. The Knights endured a difficult start, falling behind early after a rough first quarter and first half. Five turnovers by the LCC offense made it difficult to establish any momentum, while the Knights struggled to match the physical play of the Berries and come up with timely defensive stops. Despite the loss, Wyatt Williams provided a big-play threat for the Knights' offense. Williams finished with three receptions for 137 yards and a touchdown, including a 75-yard reception. Defensively, Ethan Miller led the Knights with nine tackles, while Lukas Gutwein added six tackles. Freshmen Isaac Tyree and George Seaburg also stepped up when their opportunities came, gaining valuable Friday night experience and contributing for the Knights. LCC now sits at 2-2 on the season and will look to bounce back on the road this Friday as the Knights travel to Twin Lakes for another Hoosier Conference matchup.
