The Knights raced at Camp Sycamore with 10 other teams from around the region at the 2026 Hornet Invitational. A bit tough to get back into racing, as high heat index weather halted training last week. That said, our crew ran great on this course. In the boys race, Andrew Thiel led the way for the Knights, finishing 9th of 93 runners. Keegan White, George Thiel, Micah Worster and Beckett White finished strong in a relatively close grouping, completing the scoring for the Knights. Collectively, the Knights placed 4th of 11 teams: 138 points. In the girls race, Cate Thiel was the first Knight across the line, finishing 11th of 78 runners. Amelia Vogel, Lydia Worster, Julia Duso and Gianna Starr rounded out the scoring for the Knights. Collectively, the Knights placed 8th.
