The Lafayette Central Catholic volleyball team fell to a talented Harrison squad Thursday night in three sets, 19-25, 6-25, 11-25. The Knights battled Harrison throughout the opening set, staying within striking distance before the Raiders pulled away for the 25-19 win. Harrison carried that momentum into the next two sets, while Central Catholic struggled to find its rhythm and regain the momentum it had early in the match. The Raiders continued to apply pressure throughout sets two and three, taking advantage of their offensive weapons and limiting opportunities for the Knights to get back into the match. Despite the loss, Central Catholic will have a quick opportunity to regroup. The Knights return to the practice court tomorrow with their attention turning toward an important Hoosier Conference matchup against Logansport on Tuesday at home. The focus now is on learning from Thursday's match, getting back to work, and preparing for the next challenge.
