Gus Sandberg's sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh was the walkoff winner for the Knights. Lafayette Central Catholic defeated Lapel 3-2. The Knights scored single runs in the first on an Alex Schummer double and a second inning single by LJ Whtford. Lapel trailed 2-0 heading to the seventh but scored two runs to tie the score. In the bottom half of the seventh, Isaiah Hopkins hit a one triple and scored on Gus Sandberg's sac fly. Cayden Keller was brilliant on the mound scattering five hits and struck out six. The Knights advance to the Oak Hill Semi-State and will take on Bluffton at 11am Saturday.
