Lafayette Central Catholic Varsity Knights opened the scoring in the first after Kendyl McCammon hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run. In the top of the second inning, Faith Christian Varsity Eagles went back into the lead after Ivy Ramirez grounded out, and Brooklynn Reed singled to the left side of the infield, each scoring one run. A single by Corinne Zehring gave Lafayette Central Catholic Varsity Knights the lead, 3-2, in the bottom of the second. Faith Christian Varsity Eagles scored on a passed ball, which helped Faith Christian Varsity Eagles tie the game at three in the top of the fourth. Lafayette Central Catholic Varsity Knights took the lead in the bottom of the fourth. Lilly Frey grounded out, scoring one run, to give Lafayette Central Catholic Varsity Knights the edge, 4-3. McCammon earned the win for Lafayette Central Catholic Varsity Knights. The righty allowed five hits and four runs (two earned) over seven innings, striking out five and walking two. Bella Hall took the loss for Faith Christian Varsity Eagles. The right-handed pitcher went six innings, giving up six runs (three earned) on seven hits, striking out six and walking one. Meghan Duffy and Zehring each collected two hits for Lafayette Central Catholic Varsity Knights. Mia Melendez and Zehring each drove in two runs for Lafayette Central Catholic Varsity Knights. Julia Merkel led Faith Christian Varsity Eagles with two hits in three at bats. Reed, Abigail Payton, and Ramirez each drove in one run for Faith Christian Varsity Eagles.
