Crawfordsville Varsity Athenians got on the board in the top of the first inning after Christina Susdorf singled down the right field line, and Crawfordsville Varsity Athenians scored on a passed ball, each scoring one run. Lafayette Central Catholic Varsity Knights took the lead in the bottom of the second inning after Lilly Frey singled , Angela Buczkowski doubled down the right field line, and Lafayette Central Catholic Varsity Knights scored on a wild pitch, each scoring one run. Lafayette Central Catholic Varsity Knights added one run in the third. Kendyl McCammon grounded out, making the score 4-2. Crawfordsville Varsity Athenians flipped the game on its head in the top of the fourth, scoring five runs on three hits to take the lead, 7-4. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Susdorf that drove in two. Crawfordsville Varsity Athenians scored five runs on two hits in the top of the sixth inning. Meghan Duffy took the loss for Lafayette Central Catholic Varsity Knights. The starter went seven innings, allowing 12 runs (four earned) on eight hits, striking out 13 and walking five.
