Benton Central Varsity Lady Bison got on the board in the bottom of the second inning after Izabella Bauer doubled to left field, and Izzy Adams hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run. Benton Central Varsity Lady Bison scored nine runs on six hits in the bottom of the third inning. Chloe Linder grounded out, scoring one run, Julianna Sibray homered to left field, scoring three runs, an error scored one run, Adalynn Keller tripled, scoring two runs, Harper Butler singled, scoring one run, and an error scored one run. Butler earned the win for Benton Central Varsity Lady Bison. The righty gave up six hits and two runs over four innings, striking out nine and walking none. Kendyl McCammon took the loss for Lafayette Central Catholic Varsity Knights. The right-handed pitcher went four innings, giving up 12 runs (nine earned) on 12 hits, striking out one and walking one. Aaliyah Cordell led Lafayette Central Catholic Varsity Knights with two hits in three at bats. Meghan Duffy and Angela Buczkowski each drove in one run for Lafayette Central Catholic Varsity Knights. Benton Central Varsity Lady Bison tallied 12 hits in the game. Sibray led Benton Central Varsity Lady Bison with three runs batted in. The catcher went 3-for-3 on the day. Keller, Butler, and Madison Minniear each collected multiple hits for Benton Central Varsity Lady Bison. Minniear stole two bases.
