Benton Central Varsity Lady Bison got on the board in the top of the first inning after Lafayette Central Catholic Varsity Knights committed an error, Lafayette Central Catholic Varsity Knights committed an error, and Izzy Adams singled down the left field line, each scoring two runs. Benton Central Varsity Lady Bison extended their early lead with three runs in the top of the second thanks to RBI singles by Sydney Groves and Reagan Dowell. Benton Central Varsity Lady Bison added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Chloe Linder singled to center field, and Benton Central Varsity Lady Bison scored on a passed ball, each scoring one run. Benton Central Varsity Lady Bison scored eight runs on four hits in the top of the fourth inning. Adalynn Keller singled, scoring one run, Harper Butler singled, scoring one run, Groves drew a walk, scoring one run, Julianna Sibray doubled, scoring two runs, Izabella Bauer singled, scoring two runs, and a passed ball scored one run. Dowell earned the win for Benton Central Varsity Lady Bison. The pitcher gave up seven hits and five runs (four earned) over three innings, striking out two and walking none. Kendyl McCammon took the loss for Lafayette Central Catholic Varsity Knights. The pitcher went three and one-third innings, surrendering 18 runs (nine earned) on 12 hits, striking out three and walking five. Aaliyah Cordell led Lafayette Central Catholic Varsity Knights with three hits in three at bats.
