Lafayette Central Catholic Varsity Knights were the first to get on the board in the first when Embree Boutelle doubled, scoring one run. West Lafayette (Varsity 2026) jumped back into the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Raegan Miller walked, Megan Creech was struck by a pitch, Juliana Martinez walked, and Lafayette Central Catholic Varsity Knights committed an error, each scoring one run. West Lafayette (Varsity 2026) scored 15 runs on seven hits in the bottom of the second inning.
