Strong Pitching Lifts Central Catholic JV White over Clinton Prairie JV on Thursday night. Central Catholic was led on the mound by John Parlon, Aiden Lohmeyer, and Tom Rooze. Parlon threw 3 scoreless innings, allowing 1 hit and striking out 3 hitters. Lohmeyer threw 3 innings, allowing 1 hit and 1 run while striking out 6 batters. Rooze came in to shut the game down for the Knights in the 7th. The Knights started the game by scoring 4 runs in the 1st inning. After singles by Lee Anderson and Bret Parker, Lohmeyer delivered a 2-run single to left field. After a Peyton Cornelius walk, Owen Clute grounded into a fielder's choice, which scored Lohmeyer to continue the scoring. Anderson, Clute, and Parker all collected multiple RBIs for the Knights. Lafayette Central Catholic JV White will face Covington at home at 6:00 pm on Friday.
