West Lafayette (Varsity 2026) got on the board in the top of the first inning after Raegan Miller singled, scoring two runs, Stella Bates grounded out, scoring three runs, Avery Asay drew a walk, scoring one run, and Eleanor Hurt grounded out, scoring one run. West Lafayette (Varsity 2026) added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Hurt doubled down the left field line, and Kerrigan Gooden singled to center field, each scoring one run. Megan Creech earned the win for West Lafayette (Varsity 2026). The hurler allowed five hits and two runs (one earned) over five innings, striking out seven and walking two. Kendyl McCammon took the loss for Lafayette Central Catholic Varsity Knights. The starter went five innings, surrendering 13 runs (11 earned) on 13 hits, striking out two and walking five.
