Lafayette Central Catholic (9-1, 5-1) finished the sweep of West Lafayette Wednesday night by the score of 6-3. Vince Telenko was masterful on the mound limiting the Red Devils to just one hit and struck out five in 5 2/3 innings of work. Gus Sandberg's two out two run single in the third inning got the Knights on the board. West Lafayette tied the game at two in the sixth before the Knights responded with four runs of their own in the bottom half of the sixth. Chase Hittle led off with a single and scored on Cayden Keller's pinch hit double to left center. The Knights would tack on three more runs off of Red Devil relief pitchers. Hittle and Mikey Stapleton each had two hits for the Knights.
