Lafayette Central Catholic (6-1, 3-1) pounded out six doubles in a convincing 14-1 win over Benton Central (3-5, 1-3) in five innings. Gus Sandberg had a pair of doubles and drove in four runs. Mike Stapleton also had two hits and drove in three. Alex Schummer had a double and drove in four runs. LJ Whitford reached base four times and scored three runs for the Knights. Cayden Keller struck out five Bison in three innings of work to pick up the win. Tatum Adriano and Chase Hittle fired scoreless innings in relief while fanning five.
