Lafayette Central Catholic Varsity Knights were the first to get on the board in the first when a passed ball scored one run. Tipton Varsity Blue Devils took the lead in the bottom of the third inning after Makenna Comer singled to center field, and SJ Hill walked, each scoring one run. Ella Lobeck earned the win for Tipton Varsity Blue Devils. The pitcher surrendered four hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out 11 and walking five. Kendyl McCammon took the loss for Lafayette Central Catholic Varsity Knights. The hurler went three and two-thirds innings, allowing six runs on three hits, striking out two and walking 11. Hannah Lee led Lafayette Central Catholic Varsity Knights with one run batted in. Embree Boutelle went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Lafayette Central Catholic Varsity Knights in hits. McCammon led Lafayette Central Catholic Varsity Knights with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, piling up five walks for the game. Corinne Zehring stole two bases. Lafayette Central Catholic Varsity Knights stole four bases in the game. Lafayette Central Catholic Varsity Knights turned one double play in the game. Comer and Lobeck each collected two hits for Tipton Varsity Blue Devils. Hill and Lobeck each drove in two runs for Tipton Varsity Blue Devils. Tipton Varsity Blue Devils had patience at the plate, amassing 12 walks for the game. Hill, Anya Cline, Lobeck, and Cora Braun led the team with two free passes each.
