The 7th Grade Lady Knights traveled to Lafayette Christian Thursday evening winning 30 to 24. Evoking memories of Artis Gilmore and Pembrook Burrows ( Google them) the Knights faced a HUGE size disparity. The Lafayette Christian twin towers were a huge matchup problem. However, the Knights battled and clawed and found a way to pull out the victory. A 2nd quarter run was sparked by the hard play of Jocelyn Lehe, Gaby Suckow and Annie Schweiss off the bench. The Knights offense was once again led by the sparkling play of Hadley Evans. She scored 14 points and served up several great assists as well as defending one of the towers defensively. Emma Jungles turned in another good all around performance adding 6 points. Taylor Riehle added 4 points. The Knights get back at it to prepare for Tuesday's game when they travel to Rossville.
