The Knights went 7 for 7 at the Lafayette Jeff Sectional, placing all their wrestlers. As a team the Knights finished in 7th place ahead of Delphi, Faith Christian, and Carroll all had more wrestlers than CC. 138 Romeo Del Real captured the Sectional Championship becoming the 6th wrestler to do so in the last 7 years. Romeo began the day with a Pin Fall over Verduczo of Delphi. In the Semi-Finals he won a Major Decision 15-4 over Trusty of Seeger. Then in the finals against Foley of McCutcheon he was down early, but earned an escape. In the 2nd period he got a reversal and stuck Foley with a Pin Fall to win. 106 Prince Baptiste finished as Sectional Runner Up 113 Landen Fitzsimons finished in 4th Place 144 Lee Anderson finished in 3rd Place All 4 will advance to the Logansport Regional 126 Max Dutton and Hvy CJ Davis both finished in 5th place and will be alternates for the Regional 120 Jayden Sprouls finished in 6th Place Way to Go Knights!
