The 7th grade Knights entered Saturday's WCJC semi finals with high expectations. In the semi finals they fell to Tecumseh in an instant classic 39 to 35 in OT. The Knights fought and clawed to fight back to take the Bronchos to overtime. The Knights could only muster 8 first half points against the athletic Bronchos. However, the fight never left the Knights and they were able to force overtime only to fall short. Drew Heath caught fire after a scoreless first half to lead the offense with 10 points. Adler Holle 8 points, Jackson Weaver 6 points and Jack Kane 5 points were part of a balanced Knight attack. The Knights bounced back in the 3rd place game avenging last week's loss to BC 33 to 31. It was another close and hotly contested contest! Adler Holle was the only Knight in double figures with 10 points. Once again the Knights utilized a balanced unselfish offense. Jack Kane 8 points, Jackson Weaver 6 points , Andrew Kern 5 points and Drew Heath 4 points rounded out the scoring.. The Knights win over BC moved the Knights to 14 and 4 to conclude a great season!
