The CC boys basketball team soundly defeated the Delphi Oracles 41-8 last night, bringing their season record to 3-3. The Knights played outstanding defense and swallowed up every rebound, allowing the Oracles no clean looks or extra chance points. The home team jumped out to a 15-0 lead after one and took a 28-3 lead into halftime. There was no let up in the second half, as it was a full team effort. Connor Brand led the Knights with 12 and Ben Cornelius chipped in 6, with 7 other Knights also getting on the score board. The Knights have a busy upcoming week, at Southwestern on Monday, at Rossville on Tuesday and home against East Tipp on Wednesday.
