The 7th grade once again rode a strong team defensive effort to victory. The Knights held Roosevelt to 8 points through 3 quarters and cruised to a semi final tournament win 33 to 17. The Knights started slow offensively, but found their groove in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. Brinn Robbins 13 points paced the Knights scoring. Albert Schwartz chipped in 10 points. The Knights advanced to Saturday afternoon’s 12:30 championship game.

The Knights B team suffered a heartbreaking 38 37 double overtime loss to Roosevelt to end their season. It was an exciting back and forth contest. Multiple lead changes and key baskets by each team. The Knights survived 2 shots by Roosevelt in the last 30 seconds. However, a furious scramble for a ball in CC’s front court found a Roosevelt player free behind the Knights and his lay up at the buzzer broke the Knights hearts. John Rafacz 22 points led the Knights. Alex Meyer had 8 and Jacob Buche 7 to lead the Knights offense.
