Central Catholic welcomed the Traders Point Christian Knights to McHale Gymnasium Friday night and came away with a 64-39 victory. After a slow start by Central Catholic, a 18-4 second quarter gave the Knights the lead for good. Carson Barrett and Brenner Oliver led the way for Central Catholic with 23 and 17 points respectively. Nate Webb put in an all-around effort with 9 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Central Catholic’s record now improves to 10-2 on the year. They travel down the block to Lafayette Jeff tomorrow for a Saturday showdown, with the JV starting at 6 pm.
The Central Catholic JV got off to a strong 1st quarter and never looked back, ending with a 51-33 victory. A balanced scoring attack was led by Clark Obermiller, 14 points, and Jessie Neihouser, 11 points.
