Your Central Catholic Football Knights won the school’s ninth Regional Football Championship on Friday in a 43-17 win over North Judson. The Knights offense was led by Clark Barrett, who completed 80% of his passes for 351 yards and four touchdowns through the air. Freshman Baylor Smith added two touchdowns on the ground. Reece Buche caught two of the four Barrett touchdown throws and Daniel Roach and Evan Dienhart added one each. Evan Suppinger led the Knights up front with a great game as well.
Defensively, the Knights were led by Evan Suppinger with 10 total tackles. Evan Munn had six tackles, two sacks, and a forced fumble for the Knights. Pete Spencer had five tackles and three quarterback pressures.
The Knights are 10-3 and will host 12-1 Adams Central at the Rock on Friday night at 8pm for the 1A North Semi-State Championship.
