Suffocating Defense and a handful of explosive offensive plays helped the #2 ranked Knights capture victory over 3A Northwestern High School on Friday night. Leading the defense were seniors Tommy Puskar (9 tackles) and Jacob Bunton (5 tackles). Keagan O’Connor also added 4 tackles with 2 tackles for loss.

Offensively, Clark Barrett was 15-26-0 for 258 yards and 5 touchdowns through the air. Wade Hardebeck stabilized the offensive front with solid play on the line. Barrett through touchdowns to Baylor Smith, Evan Dienhart, Tommy Regich, and Ty Buche (2).

Zach Kerr went 5-5 on p.a.t. attempts and knocked down a 34 yard field goal to get the Knights to 38 points.

Then Knights begin the year 1-0 for the first time since 2016. They will travel to 3A #2 West Lafayette (2-1) this week for their second contest of the 2020 season. Kickoff at 7:00.
