The 7th grade A Knights earned a hard fought victory at Benton Central Tuesday evening. The Knights outlasted the Bison 33 to 25. The Knights overcame some poor shooting and uncharacteristic turnover problems to secure a 9 and 0 regular season. The Knights were led in scoring by Mikey Stapleton with 10 points. Noah Smith added 7 points and Tage Shidler chipped in 6 points for the Knights. The Knights return to action Thursday against Rensselaer at BC in the first round of the WCJC tournament.
In the B game , The Knights used a 21 4 run during the 2nd and 3rd quarters to subdue BC 38 to 16. Chase Siemers led the way with 11 points. Gus Sandberg and Brennan VanKirk had 6 points each.
