Josiah Lewis Bowls 232-264 in win against Twin Lakes
The Knights bowling team scored an 18-2 win against the Twin Lakes Indians on Thursday evening at Market Square Lanes. In the first game, all five of our bowlers defeated their opponents, with Ben Sonstein making a clutch strike and a spare in the 10th frame to score a 108 and win his game by nine pins. In addition to Ben’s win, Corey Schramm rolled a 221 and Josiah Lewis had the team’s high game of 232 to beat their opponents. Crew Blumling (151) and Hunter Conn (178) also won their games. In the second game of the match Josiah Lewis struck in the first four frames, then left the 1-2-4-10 washout in the fifth frame. Lewis left the 10 pin standing but that would be his only open frame of the game. He rolled the next seven strikes to finish with a 264. Along with Lewis’s win in the second game Daniel Poole and Hunter Conn beat their opponents, and the Knights took ten additional points for total pins for e a final score of 18-2. Congratulations to our Knights keglers for the win and to Josiah for his 496 two-game series. That’s a lot of pins!
