In the first round game of the Lebanon Invitational Junior Varsity tournament, the Central Catholic boys defeated the hosts 2-0.

The Knights out-shot Lebanon 10-5, but it took until the second half before they broke the scoreless deadlock. Chris Cardenas took a long pass from Sam Milazzo and touched it over the keeper for the first goal. Then with 13 minutes to go in the game, a pass across the field found Andrew Pannell on the left side of the penalty area. He beat his defender but was fouled and awarded a penalty kick. Pannell converted the shot to the left side of the goal to make the score 2-0. The Knights held Lebanon to only one second half shot.
